Hi and welcome to Blake + Mia!
I'm Valerie, and along with my husband Jacob, we started this brand (formerly Play by Clark) as an extension of our earring business, Clay by Clark. Our goal was to expand our business and work from home doing what we love. My background as a nanny and aunt inspired this venture.

In late 2023 and early 2024, our business took on new meaning following two miscarriages and ongoing infertility struggles, which led to the creation of Blake + Mia. These are our two rainbow babies we never met but who inspire us daily. We aim to address the often-silenced issues of infertility and miscarriage, turning our experiences into support for others facing similar challenges.
With Blake + Mia guiding us, we’re grateful for the support we’ve received and excited to share our journey in business, infertility, and eventually parenthood when God decides the time is right.
